Etude BB Bright Cream

Does anyone else have one product that they are dying to get rid of? My answer would be a double hand in the air while jumping out of my seat, screaming at the top of my lungs yes. Argh, I don’t really want to waste this product so I am slowly making my way through it but there are some lonely BB creams sitting in my drawers waiting their turn. I usually wear nothing but concealer and powder, but when I need more coverage, about once a week, I will break out the BB cream.

This is the Etude BB Bright Cream with Aloe Extract, SPF. 15, in #2. It is 2.17 oz and it is huge. To get a comparison, I put this next to my unopened (because I can’t finish this) Missha BB cream, and this thing is a bit taller and wider. But do not be fooled. I checked the amount of product in each and while Missha has 30 ml, the Etude is a bit more than double the amount (converted oz to ml and got 61.5ml) and cheaper.

This is a great medium to full coverage BB cream and you can layer on for even coverage. This is good since I have a ton of acne scars and this cream will blur out the scarring on my face. I have been using this for several months and still haven’t broken out from it, but that could be because I don’t use this daily. This has no shimmer and a matte effect, and it my skin looks almost airbrushed and hazy (not in these horribly shot photos). Ahhh! My skin looks horrible, so be warned for future photos.

Apply with either a foundation brush or a damp sponge but do not use your fingers. I tried this and my sister told me that I looked cakey. Don’t think that this is a horrible product except for one thing. The scent. It smells like children playing with their mother’s makeup and spilling it all together to create this odd floral mix of, I can’t even describe it. It’s just like Revlon’s Colorstay foundation, which has that odd smell, so does this, it is overpowering and does not fade. This alone would not make me repurchase the product, as well as the fact that I got this on my trip in Korea and won’t go back there for a long time. I feel like I’ve been talking about products that I don’t like but to liven up the mood I will be writing about products that I love soon.
