Etude Dr. Fixer
For me, this thing is necessary, and when I say necessary, I mean this is HG, will buy this over again, and if it somehow becomes discontinued, I will fly over to the headquarters of Etude and beat the crap out of somebody. This is basically a mascara sealer. I have severely hooded eyelids, where the top portion of the eyelid touches my eyelashes. On top of that I have oily skin, so let me ask you a question. What happens when oily skin comes in contact with non waterproof mascara? A hot looking mess, it looks like I just finished watching the Lion King with the father dying over again on repeat after a eight hour day.
I don't like waterproof mascara because that tends to be bad for the lashes as well as it still not lasting because of the oils in my skin, but this product makes the mascara last and not smudge all over. I've even been caught in the rain and while my eyeliner smeared, my mascara did not. It's clear and doesn't do anything to volumizes or lengthen, just makes the resistant to any form of abuse. It doesn't dry out my lashes, nor does it have a horrible scent. The only downfall is it's inability to stay sanitary. After swiping this on my lashes with the wand, the wand goes back in the tube making the clear gloss turn murky and grey. What I now do is take a clean spoolie, just get a tiny bit of the stuff on the tip and swipe the spoolie over it. That way, I don't double dip and it keeps the product clean. I am on my second tube and have a backup of it, and will buy this on ebay again. It's about tweleve dollars, and more expensive than a tube of drugstore mascara, but if you have the same problems with mascara, you definitely need to pick this up.
